October 7  Ethical Leadership 

9AM - 4:00 PM 
CAMLS and the Center for Ethical Leadership are pleased to bring Dr. Bill
Grace to northeast Ohio to present a critical workshop for today's
libraries.  Dr. Grace presented this session at the 2004 PLA Conference in

October 20 Google, Gamers, and the Gathering Place:  The Library Environment
Today 

9:30AM - 12:00PM 
The findings of OCLC's landmark assessment of the library environment will
be highlighted by George Needham Vice President of Member Services.  A
lively discussion of its ramifications on Ohio libraries will conclude this
morning session.  Don't miss this opportunity to hear the research and share
in the rich discussion.

October 27  Attitude and Accountability  

9:30AM - 4:00PM 

Each and every workday we are responsible for our job duties and our
performance of those duties.  Yet there are many stumbling blocks along the
way.  The always-popular Marti Peden will define what it means to be
"personally accountable" and will show participants how to gain an attitude
that rises above the most difficult circumstances.  This workshop is for all
staff levels and managers.

October 28 Saving Time , Energy, and $$$ in Your Library  

9:30 AM - 12:00PM 
As budgets shrink, libraries must find ways to work more efficiently and do
more efficiently.  Karen Albury will share Westerville Public Library's best
practice model of redefining and redesigning the area of materials selection
and collection development.  Discover what you can adopt and adapt for your
