The Greene County Public Library is seeking a Head Librarian for the Jamestown Community Library.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  This full-time position manages all aspects of the operation and is responsible for the overall quality of library service.  Responsibilities include supervising staff; developing partnerships with local government, civic groups, and schools; participating in the selection of materials and developing community library's collections. REQUIREMENTS:  Master of Library Science from an ALA-accredited program required.  Two years supervisory and leadership experience preferred.  Thorough knowledge of professional library science and administration as evidenced in proven ability to develop work programs, plan, and supervise the work of others.  Ability to communicate clearly; listen, understand, speak, and write effectively.  

STARTING SALARY:  $40,476.80 plus excellent benefits.
