Announcing NEO-RLS: Northeast Ohio Regional Library System Website


 

Warren, Ohio-April 14, 2006, 10:00 a.m. - On April 4, 2005 during a
Regional Library planning meeting with State Library, the question was
posed "In an ideal world, what would regional library systems look
like?"

This statement was the beginning of over a year of hard work by the
three regionals in Northeast Ohio, CAMLS, MOLO, and NOLA.  

Although there is considerable work yet to be completed, now is the time
for the library community to begin to reap the rewards of the labor of
the regional staffs, steering committees, and local boards involved in
this process.  We would like to welcome all northeast Ohio libraries to
the NEO-RLS: Northeast Ohio Regional Library System website.

Under the direction of the NEO-RLS Board of Trustees, this transitional
website has been setup for the convenience of all area libraries.  You
will find this website at: www.neo-rls.org <http://www.neo-rls.org/> .
Please check this site often for updates not only on regional issues,
but programs and services available to member libraries as well.  

Complete contact information for this new board and subsequent
committees is available on the NEO-RLS website.  The next board meeting
is scheduled for April 28, 2006 at the NOLA Regional Library System
Office and Conference Center located at 4445 Mahoning Avenue NW, Warren,
Ohio 44483.
