Position Vacancy: Adult/Information Services Librarian 
The Wood County District Public Library is currently seeking 
applicants for the position of Adult/Information Services Librarian at 
its main library in Bowling Green, Ohio. 

Minimum Qualifications: 
ALA-MLS degree; one-year post-MLS public service experience in a 
public library; strong database/Internet searching skills; comfortable 
using emerging technologies; ability to efficiently and effectively 
handle multiple projects/tasks in a timely manner. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
A strong reading background in adult fiction & ability to share this 
background with patrons is preferred. 

Position Responsibilities: 
A majority of this position's time is spent at the Information Desk 
helping patrons effectively use library resources. Additionally this 
position will develop and lead library programs, create displays and 
assist in the merchandising of library collections and services, and 
will be responsible for handling a multitude of smaller tasks to assist 
in the productive operation of the department. 

Annual Salary & Benefits: 
$27,500 annual salary plus a benefits package that includes: OPERS 
retirement, vacation/sick/personal leave, health insurance, dental 
insurance, and opportunities for continuing education and 
professional service.
