Richard--

You're looking to implement technology and cut services?  That
seems like a really, really bad idea to me.  Won't Envisionware
make it easier for the librarians to enter the reservation on the
system?

Does this need to continue to be a "reference librarian" task?  Could
phone reservations be entered by whoever answers the phone?

Automation doesn't replace services; it only makes the work in
implementing those services easier.  (Unless you're afraid of
computers, which is a completely different problem).
