Plan to attend this free Summer CO-ASIS&T Program:

"Sullivant Learning Commons at The Ohio State University"

The Sullivant Learning Commons provides students with 
a "one-stop center for learning and technical needs".
It features wireless access, individual and group workstations,
and provides equipment & software for presentation practice.
Join Presenters Anne Fields and Todd Wulfhorst and see
how Ohio State University Libraries has implemented the
"learning commons" concept.

PROGRAM & REGISTRATION:

WHEN: Wednesday, August 23, 2006
6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Refreshments & Sign-In, Meet in Room 244A
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tour, Presentation and Q & A

WHERE: Room 244A in Sullivant Hall, 813 N. High Street,
Ohio State University Campus in Columbus, Ohio
Parking is available in the Ohio Union Garage next to
Sullivant Hall.

Attendees who register by August 16 and supply
a mailing address will be sent a parking pass; attendees who
register after that date will be responsible for any parking fees.

Presenters:
Anne Fields is OSU Libraries Coordinator for Research
and Reference. Since coming to Ohio State in 2001, she has
served as subject specialist for education. She has a B.A. from Mount
Holyoke College, an MLS from University of Iowa and a PhD in English
from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her research
interests include digital storytelling, cognition as it applies to
information literacy, and how various disciplinary cultures manifest
themselves within academic libraries.

Todd Wulfhorst is the Manager of the Student Computer Centers
and Library IT Computing Support. He has over 10 years of IT
experience and a Bachelors Degree from The Ohio State Unviversity's
Fisher College of Business and Management Information Science.
Todd is currently working towards his masters in Public Policy and
Management at Ohio State University's John Glenn School of
Public Affairs.
