[OPLINLIST] professional library movers

[Paris Head]

We are fast approaching a contract signing with a general contractor to do almost $1.5 million addition/renovation on our existing building in Germantown.  I would very much appreciate any information from those of you who've been through this in regards to those companies you've used to do the physical moving of the stacks/books.  Did you hire a professional organization or use community volunteers?  Any experiences would be helpful.
