On Wednesday February 21, OHIONET will offer a workshop on the "Basics
of Acquisitions." We will use a workflow-oriented approach to cover the
basics of acquiring library materials. Topics include budgeting and
accounting, order processing, record selection, vendor selection,
electronic resources, and automating processes. Please note that this
workshop will not offer hands-on training with any integrated library
system, but will focus on general principles of acquisitions. Please
bring your questions.
