Deputy Director, new position

Starting Salary: $66,608-$83,193, based on experience

Full time, minimum 37 hrs/wk

Qualified applicants will possess an MLS from an ALA accredited school; a minimum of seven (7) years of professional library experience in positions with progressive levels of responsibility; and a minimum of four (4) years of experience supervising a branch library or systemwide department.

Duties: Oversees the daily operations of the Worthington Libraries and has systemwide responsibility for all aspects of public service, programming, technical services and digital library services.

 

Librarian - Adult Services, two (2) vacancies

Librarian - Youth Services, one (1) vacancy

Starting Salary: $38,500-$48,100, based on experience

Full time, minimum 37 hrs/wk, including some evenings and weekends

Qualified applicants will possess an MLS from an ALA accredited school and a minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience. Duties for both positions are reference and readers' advisory service and outreach (traditional and digital). Additional youth services duties are literature-based programming and early childhood literacy efforts.
