OHIONET is pleased to offer a workshop for technical services staff
involved with acquisition and management of electronic resources such as
databases, e-journals, and e-books.

 

Electronic resources create many tasks for technical services
departments. Staff may need to set up trials, negotiate pricing and
license terms, activate, process invoices, manage an A-Z list or OpenURL
link resolver, troubleshoot access problems and more for each resource
-- and then do it all again the next year. This workshop will cover the
basics of acquiring and managing electronic resources from the
perspective of technical service staff. Workflow suggestions, tools, and
standards will be covered.
