OHIONET would like to offer libraries the following training
opportunity:


Basic Source Training: Consumer Reference

 


The Consumer Reference session reviews sources useful in answering
questions about product information and evaluation, and introduces
agencies that can assist with consumer problems. The sources include
popular consumer databases available on the CML Reference webpage,
periodical and government agency websites, and selected print titles.
The focus is primarily electronic resources.

Becky Metz & Judy Hartzler


Developed by the Columbus Metropolitan Library, this workshop is part of
a series of reference training entitled Basic Source Training and is
presented by experienced CML reference staff. Becky Metz has more than
19 years experience with the Columbus Metropolitan Library, including 16
years as the Reference Team Leader at the Dublin Branch. Judy Hartzler
is the Assistant Manager and Reference Team Leader at the Hilliard
Branch.
