Briggs Lawrence County Public Library will accept sealed bids for the
purchase of its 1987 Bluebird Bookmobile.  The unit will be available for
viewing at the Main Library in Ironton on November 30th and December 5th.
Please call 740-533-0363 for an appointment.  The vehicle is being sold as
is.  It has 128,318 miles; an Allison automatic transmission; 454 Chevy big
block gasoline engine; a propane forced air furnace; two roof mounted air
conditioning units; a Kohler 7.5 gasoline fueled generator, an apartment
size refrigerator and library book shelving.  Included is a MotoSat
DataStorm F1Mobile Two-way Satellite Internet system.  

 

Bids will be reviewed on December 13th at the Library Board meeting.  The
Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids at its
discretion. Bids may be submitted by mail or dropped off to: Larry Stanley,
Clerk Treasurer, Briggs Library, 321 South Fourth Street, Ironton, Ohio
