[OPLINLIST] Children's summer reading ideas

Our children's department is looking for some new ideas for their summer
reading program.  What process does your library use to keep track of
what the children read?  Do you use reading logs to record minutes read
or titles read?  How do you determine what a good goal would be?  Do you
have specific check in days, times or does the child reach their goal
and then check in?  How many weeks does your program run?  Any other
ideas you may have regarding summer reading would be great!  Please send
