Greetings, friends!
There is still time for you or a fellow staff member to register for
OHIONET's exciting new workshop, The "McDreamy" OPAC: Creating a Vision
for Next Generation Search Tools! Join our guest speakers Jessi
Crim-Weithman and Nieca Nowels as they present to you the current
landscape of library search tools, from OPACs to federated searches to
newer discovery platforms. Take a hands-on tour of trends from
non-library search tools in our computer lab. Learn strategies on how to
form an evolving vision for your future OPAC, as well as tips for
negotiating future development with vendors.
When: Tuesday, February 12th, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: OHIONET, 1500 W. Lane Ave. Columbus, OH 43221
Cost: $40 (members); $55 (non-members)
