Connexion Client Basics

OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing Basics

In this hands-own workshop, new or current Interlibrary Loan staff will
learn the basic elements of using WorldCat Resource Sharing for interlibrary
loan through FirstSearch. Topics will include Constant Data, Custom
Holdings, and ILL Policies.

Dealing With Unacceptable Behavior in the Library: Protecting Patrons and
Staff

Officers David Ferimer and Robert Wood have traveled the state of Ohio
talking to library employees about making their institutions safe for both
staff and patrons. Join them as they talk about law enforcement procedures,
observation and perception, legal issues from the Ohio Revised Code and
common state and local violations in libraries, including the Concealed
Weapons Law. Ferimer and Wood present this information with a touch of humor
that encourages audience participation and story-telling. Come armed with
questions for the Q&A at the end of the session.
