The 2009 Teen Summer Reading Workshop being held by NEO Regional Library
System is open to anyone in the state of Ohio. This is the only Teen
Summer Reading Workshop that will be held by NEO and the three
Children's Services Summer Reading Workshops will NOT cover teen
services.

Program Time: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

 

Speakers: 

Sarah Granville, Barberton Public Library, Christina Getrost,
Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library  and other speakers to be announced. 

 

Program Description:

This workshop is offered to share ideas for utilizing the 2009 Teen
Summer Reading theme, "Express Yourself At Your Library." Speakers will
include Sarah Granville, Barberton Public Library, Christina Getrost,
Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library and other speakers to be announced.
Learn how to make a book trailer and host a video/film festival, among
other "creative" ideas. Plus all participants are encouraged to bring 50
copies of their own idea for a library program, passive program, or
display based on the "Express Yourself" theme (or have an online link to
share their information). Feel free to bring one example of any craft to
demonstrate. That way all who come can take away handouts of best
practices/ideas.
