Registration is now open for OHIONET’s 2009 Annual Meeting!

 

DATE: Wednesday, May 6th 2009 

LOCATION: University Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, Columbus OH
TIME: Registration begins at 9:15 a.m.; event begins at 10:00 a.m.
COST: $25.00 (lunch included)

 

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Sarah Houghton-Jan

Sarah Houghton-Jan is the Digital Futures Manager for the San José Public
Library in the heart of the Silicon Valley in California. She also works as
a consultant for the Infopeople Project, serves on LITA's Top Technology
Trends Committee, and speaks internationally at live and online events for
libraries and other institutions. 

Ms. Houghton-Jan, who was just named one of Library Journal's 2009 Movers
and Shakers, also administers the popular library blog, The Librarian in
Black. Her address will discuss how to best manage sustainable new
technologies—a topic applicable to libraries of all types, shapes, and
sizes.

 

A brief OHIONET update will precede the keynote session. Lunch is provided
for all attendees. After lunch, you’ll have your choice of three breakout
sessions:
