[OPLINLIST] Another day, another email problem

All,
    We had another spam issue this morning, so mail might be rocky 
today. Unlike the last time, which was a stolen user account accessing 
the web interface, this issue looks like a library's catalog server is 
compromised, and that catalog server uses the OPLIN mail server as its 
SMTP host to send out notices. The ip of the offending server has been 
blocked, and the spam has been removed from the mail queue, so it should 
die down now. The offending library will be contacted once they open.
