Program Description:
Here's your opportunity to have a day of fun as you learn how to handle
difficult situations and patrons. "Fun?" Yes, fun! Officers Ferimer and Wood
present this difficult subject matter with humor and understanding. This
workshop will cover things like law enforcement procedures, observation and
perception, legal issues from the Ohio Revised Code and common state and
local violations in libraries, and safety. They will also discuss the
Concealed Weapons Law. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the program.
