Good news!
 
It was just announced on the ALA Council floor that the Consumer Products Safety Commission is putting a hold on the new rules regarding lead being applied to children's books.
 
So, the phone calls from librarians all over the country have worked!
 
Watch for more announcements regarding this important issue in the future.
