[OPLINLIST] Looking for a book

We are trying to locate a book for a patron and need your help.  The
patron has not read the book but says a soldier (presumably American)
has a death wish and volunteers to fight in Iraq hoping he will get
killed.  Does this sound familiar to anyone?  Thanks for your help.
