The Trustees of the Loudonville Public Library in Loudonville, Ohio, seek an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individual to serve as Director.  The Director oversees a staff of 13 and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the library. 

 

Loudonville is located in scenic southern Ashland County.  The library has an excellent relationship with the community, including the local schools.  The beautiful 27,000 square foot facility has significant space for events and programs.  The library was recognized as a four-star library in Library Journal's Index of Public Library Service for 2009.    


Qualifications:

MLS from ALA-accredited institution preferred, although candidates who have significant work completed towards their MLS will be considered.  Two years of supervisory experience in a public library setting is required, as well as a strong commitment to patron services, staff development, and community involvement.



Salary:

Commensurate with experience - Excellent benefit package
