IMMEDIATE NEED

 

POSITION:  Interim Fiscal Officer

 

LIBRARY:  Massillon Public Library in Massillon OH

 

CONTRACT BASIS:  

$20/hour; 20 hours/week

For approximately 2-3 months or until regular Fiscal Officer position is filled.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.  (With Bachelor's) At least 3 years experience in public library fund accounting.

(With Associate's) At least 7 years experience in public library fund accounting.

 

Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a field directly related to accounting will also be considered.  Experience same as noted above.

 

 

Knowledge and experience with UAN software, preferred.

Knowledge of ADP payroll processing.

Supervisory experience, desirable.

Employee must be able to be bonded.

 

Interim Fiscal Officer will be responsible for certification and distribution of library funds; preparing financial reports; annual budget preparation in cooperation with the Director; investments under direction of the Board; coordinating audit with state auditors; supervising production of payroll and accounts payable.

 

Massillon Public Library has an annual budget of approximately $2 million.
