[OPLINLIST] Book Sales

We are a small library in northern Ohio that has in the past held Friend's
Book Sales and charged per item.

We now just have a continuous book shelf and the patrons help themselves and
leave a donation {of their choice}.

Is it legal to offer  weeded materials to the public  for  donations and
place the donation monies  back in general fund?
