Position one:  Early Childhood Programming Specialist (20-24 hours)

 

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic
personality needed for a position that provides programs and site visits for
library promotion. A background in early childhood development is necessary.
Familiarity with and the ability to use technology which appeals to this age
group, familiarity with age appropriate literature, and media are essential.
Age appropriate program examples: Music and movement (ages 2-5), Toddler
times (18-36 months), Preschool story time (ages 3-5). 

 

Schedule will include weekend and evening hours. Applicant must have a BA
(minimum) in relevant field, a valid driver's license, and be willing to
travel locally as well as attend meetings in the region and state.

Position two: Preteen and Teen Programming Specialist  (20-24 hours)

 

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic
personality for a position that provides programs and site visits for
library promotion. Background in childhood development is necessary.
Familiarity with and the ability to use technology which appeals to this age
group, familiarity with age appropriate literature, and media are essential.
Age appropriate program examples include: library sleepovers, Wii
competitions, reading clubs, craft programs, game days, homework help, and
the like.

 

Schedule will include weekend and evening hours. Must have a BA (minimum) in
a relevant field, a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel locally
as well as attend meetings in the region and state.
