[OPLINLIST] OHIONET Issues RFP for a Facilitator for Library Leadership Ohio

OHIONET is requesting proposals from organizations interested in continuing
the Library Leadership Ohio tradition of developing the talents of emerging
library leaders to actively shape the future of Ohio libraries.  Proposals
are being sought for a facilitator to assist in the planning and development
as well as to conduct the Library Leadership Ohio institute to be held in
summer 2012.



It was approximately one year ago that the decision was made to cancel
Library Leadership Ohio for 2010.  The previous eight institutes, held over
the past two decades, have had a tremendous impact on developing Ohio’s
library leaders.  Since last February there has been a lot of discussion
about the benefits provided by Library Leadership Ohio.



To that end, a planning team, led by OHIONET, came together in the fall of
2010 and began conversation on the future of Library Leadership Ohio.  It
was decided to look at the Library Leadership Ohio model as a whole and
evaluate the most effective and beneficial means of delivering a quality
leadership program in Ohio.

2011.
