The Delaware County District Library has an immediate opening for Orange
Branch Manager. This position reports to the Deputy Director and
collaborates closely with the Circulation, Adult Services and Youth Services
managers. Primary duties are managing the daily functions of the new 33,000
square foot branch (opening in May), overseeing the hiring and supervision
of 23 branch staff members (16 FTE), and serving as the primary public
relations person for the library in the Lewis Center and Orange Township

DCDL places a high value on friendly customer service and has an active
program of service to children, teens and parents. The successful candidate
will have a strong customer service focus, project management skills, the
ability to multitask, and excellent verbal communication skills. At least 3
years of progressive supervisory and management experience.  Masters of
Library and Information Science or other relevant education may substitute
for some experience.

Starting salary is $17.98 - $25.34 per hour, with generous benefits and a
strong institutional commitment to continuing education. This is a full-time
