[OPLINLIST] "Librarian in Charge" or similar designation

Hi Everyone,

In the past, our library used what we called a "Librarian in Charge." This was one of the professional staff(not management) who would be responsible for evening operations, including closing the library. Different staff would be designated "Librarian in Charge" on different evenings; it floated among the librarians.

Do any of you use something like this at your own libraries?
