Videos and Video Player
*This latest update adds a new video player on the /Science Online/ home
page that rotates featured videos. Now, when users access the home page
, a featured video is available for immediate playback. Seventy new
videos have been added on essential topics in physics and chemistry. The
videos give students a visual representation of the science concepts
they are learning about in the classroom or laboratory, expanding on the
written textbook material and offering aids to visual learners.

*Hundreds of New Color Illustrations, Plus Diagrams without Labels
* More than 400 new full-color illustrations have been added with this
update, covering key topics in chemistry, physics, and biology. Each can
be saved to a personal folder or printed out for in-class reference.
Plus, science instructors can now access versions of animal anatomy
diagrams without labels, which can be filled in by students to reinforce
classroom learning. Click on the links below to sample these invaluable
resources.

*New and Updated Essays
*Science is a discipline that studies the very big, the very small, and
everything in between--from our universe to the elements that make up
everything in it. Science also encompasses a subject pertinent to every
human on Earth: the study of the human body. This recent update includes
more than 140 new and updated essays on core science topics, such as
anatomy, physiology, and the periodic table of the elements. Perfect for
students in biology and chemistry classes, these essays offer clear
explanations of fundamental science concepts and terminology.
