Joanne Hull, CPA has over 30 years experience working with businesses
large and small, as well as non-profits, helping them improve their
profitability and effectiveness through process improvement and
training. She combines her knowledge with proven adult learning
techniques to help warm up the world of finance for non-accountants. 

	
Program Description:
Every year, you are expected to develop a budget that communicates to
others what you, your department, your library intend to do next year,
with your program, your plans, your funds. Then, each month, the
accountants distribute reports that don't always tell the full story of
what has been happening. Or does it? By improving your knowledge and
understanding of what is going into those "actual" numbers, you will
improve your ability to budget next time. You will be creating more
skills in your arsenal to manage your financial resources. And, the
better you understand what goes into the numbers, the better you will be
at creating and implementing plans in the future, and creating the
performance you want.
