Hello.

Below are the replies I received concerning presenters for a program on
Ancestry.com.

I would recommend Ronna Eyman Eagle from Newark, OH --740-344-1724,
(RonnaEagle4 at gmail.com) Early Beginnings Group Genealogy classes and her
friend Eydie Keim, 740-334-7843, (ekeim1 at windstream.net) from the Licking
County Genealogy Society. They both came to one of my DAR meetings and were
great.

Dear Gloria:
I give a talk on using Ancestry Library Edition to our patrons about 3 or
4 times a year. I can share with you handouts, homework, and the
Powerpoint presentation I use. It uses specific Montgomery County and
Ohio examples which you could change to be Champaign County. Feel free to
use my material as you wish.

I teach Ancestry classes at our library. I am going at attach my booklet.
Some of the information has changed since Ancestry has changed how the

Hi Gloria,

I've done several classes for Ancestry.com here at our library. I'd be
happy to show you and send you the packets of information we do here at
the library. I also know that Dayton Metro teaches some classes too. Let
me know! Thanks!

Hello,

Our local history person is conducting a class for our library on the
changes in Ancestry. com in June. She will be using some of these
materials provided by Pro-Quest. (You probably will be have this email
from ProQuest too.) I just thought I’d share this because we will be
doing a class soon. She only does the class locally, but I can send
whatever handout she comes up with after the program is over if you would
like.

Hello

I have given classes at my library for several years on genealogy and for
the past several years emphasizing the internet resources. One two hour
class is on paid subscription sites, esp. Ancestry.com, plus also other
websites we subscribe to.
This past Spring I gave the same talk at the Northwest Ohio Regional Library
District to about 25-30 librarians.
I would consider giving a similar version - just AncestryLibraryEdition,
perhaps about an hour long, for libraries within 100 miles of Tiffin, Ohio
for a fee. You can contact me off-list with what you might be interested in.
