Adams County is seeking an Information Technology Librarian.

 

The IT Librarian is responsible for managing the design, implementation,
maintenance and evaluation of all 

technology activities for the library system, including but not limited to
the online circulation and catalog system, 

local area networks, microcomputers, software, electronic resources,
Internet, e-mail, and telecommunications. 

 

The librarian also is responsible for E-rate grants, maintaining a
technology inventory and operations manual, 

as well as training staff and library users. 

 

Qualifications include: 

MLS preferred and/or extensive comprehensive experience with computer
technology; 

ability to translate the language of information technology to non-expert
users; 

strength to move furniture and equipment as well as capacity to work in
close spaces; 

and, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 

Salary range:    $30,000 - $37,000
