[OPLINLIST] Constitution Day Poster Contest

What does The Constitution mean to you? Constitution Day 2011 will be
commemorated this year on September 16. Students from grades K-12 once
again have the opportunity to participate in the annual poster contest
which allows the students to visually express their interpretation of
what The Constitution means to them with their own design of a poster to
be used to advertise and celebrate Constitution Day.

 

The contest is sponsored by Constitutionfacts.com,

,which publishes "The U.S. Constitution and Fascinating Facts About It",
has teamed up with Gov Doc Kids 
http://govdocs4children.pbworks.com/w/page/8811722/FrontPage
<http://govdocs4children.pbworks.com/w/page/8811722/FrontPage>  , a
national organization that promotes better understanding and use of
federal information and publications for students for this year's poster
contest.

Please note that although the deadline is October 1, entries postmarked
October 1 will also be included in the contest.

 

Categories in the competition are organized by grade: Kindergarten-Grade
2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, Grades 7-8, Grades 9-12. Prizes of $50
savings bonds will be awarded to the winner in each category  with a
$200 to be awarded to the grand prize winner.
