Inaugural Conference of the Association of Library Communications and
Outreach Professionals (ALCOP)

October 9-10, 2011

Castle Conference Center, Arcadia University, Philadelphia, PA

Early Registration: $169 / Regular Registration: $199

                                            

This conference runs Sunday through Monday and offers over 25 different
presentations, all focusing exclusively on the current issues in library
communications and outreach. The Keynote speakers are Kathy Dempsey,
author of The Accidental Library Marketer, and marketing consultant
Chris Olson. Matthew Dyer, Head of Employee Services at the State
Library, is hosting a workshop on using presentation software more
effectively ("Putting The Power Back In To PowerPoint").
