[OPLINLIST] LSTA Five-Year Plan 2013-2017: Your Thoughts Requested

 Under the requirements of the Library Services and Technology Act (20
U.S.C. 9134), each State Library Administrative Agency (SLAA) is
required every five years to submit a Plan on the intended use of LSTA
funds.  The State Library of Ohio has begun the process of developing
the LSTA Five-Year Plan 2013 - 2017.  We are requesting input from the
Ohio Library Community on programs and services for possible inclusion
in the Plan.  This survey requests your opinion on programs/services in
the current LSTA Five-Year Plan

recommendations from the LSTA Five-Year Evaluation
<http://library.ohio.gov/lpd/lsta-five-year-evaluation-summary> .  You
may wish to refer to these documents when completing the survey.

 

The survey can be accessed at:  http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VR77CQM
and will close on March 1, 2012.  

 

The LSTA Five-Year Evaluation 2008-2012 will be used with the survey
results to become the foundation for the LSTA Five-Year Plan 2013-2017.
There will be additional opportunities later in the spring for the Ohio
Library Community to comment on the programs and services to be included
in the Five-Year Plan.  The Plan must be submitted to the Institute of
Museum and Library Services (IMLS) no later than June 30, 2012.
