[OPLINLIST] Important update on Statewide Delivery Service

The message below is sent on behalf of the State Library of Ohio.
Please forward this information to the appropriate personnel at your
library.

 

Representatives from the Ohio Department of Administrative Services
(DAS), the State Library, and OhioLINK are working through the Request
for Proposal (RFP) process with the goal of selecting a new vendor for
statewide delivery service.  This process is not complete yet. 

 

To help ease the burden of the quick transition to a new delivery
vendor, DAS has negotiated an extension with U.S. Cargo for at least 30
days beyond the March 6 deadline.  This extension will give us a few
more weeks to create a smooth transition plan and hopefully avoid any
delays in service.  More details will be shared as they become
available.
