in my email earlier this morning, the dates for the Teen SRP webinars
were correct, but the day of the week was incorrect. I posted in error
that these webinars would take place on Tuesdays. They will take place
on Thursdays, Feb. 2, 9, and 16. Corrected schedule below. My
apologies for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Janet

Planning a teen summer reading program for 2012? You'll want to check
out this series of webinars presented by Ohio's regional library systems
(NEO-RLS, NORWELD, SERLS, and SWON Libraries) in partnership with the
State Library of Ohio. Enjoy presentations by Ohio teen librarians who
have experience and insight on creating a successful Teen SRP. You'll
get ideas on programming, promotion and outreach, school visits,
decorations and displays, using technology to enhance your SRP, and
creating programs for tweens. Attend one or attend them all! All
sessions run from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Thursday, February 2: Promotion and School Visits

Speakers: Deb Henricks, Evergreen Community Library and Robyn Vittek,
Public Library of Akron and Summit County.

Thursday, February 9: Programming and Decorations

Speakers: Sarah Amazing, Warren-Trumbull County Public Library and Deb
Henricks, Evergreen Community Library.

Thursday, February 16: Tweens and Technology

Speakers: Daphne Silchuk-Ashcraft, Medina County District Library; Sara
Hardin, Washington-Centerville Public Library; and Tracy McCullough,
Clermont County Public Library.

These workshops will be held online via Adobe Connect, so you can attend
from your desk. Instructions for accessing the online workshop will be
e-mailed to you prior to the start of the session. Registration is
required and there is a $10 fee for each session. The workshops are
open to all public library staff members. Register through the regional
library system of which your library is a geographic member
(http://www.rls.lib.oh.us/regmap.htm).

Links to register for all three webinars through all the regional
library systems are here: http://oh.webjunction.org/ohsumreadworkshops

RLS calendar to the date you are interested in).
