The Governing Council of the Central Ohio Library Consortium (CLC) is seeking an energetic professional to provide vision and leadership and to administer the projects of the CLC. The position requires someone with superb technical skills, the leadership ability to inspire collaborative efforts, an understanding of administrative and budgetary processes, and the ability to represent the CLC to interested parties. Salary is $65-75,000 plus comprehensive benefit package. Equal Opportunity Employer.



RESPONSIBILITES: Leads the planning and implementation of technology initiatives to improve shared services and enhance efficiency for a multi-location operation. Proposes action plans to carry out the strategic goals of the Governing Council. Manages staff, budget, and resources to accomplish the short term and long range objectives of the CLC. Promotes the purposes of the CLC and seeks new members.



QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or closely related discipline desirable. Ten years of progressive IT experience in lieu of degree.   Eight years minimum Information Technology experience with progressively more responsible management assignments, which include operations, project management, budgetary, contract biding, negotiation and administrative group process. ABOUT THE CLC:  The Central Library Consortium (CLC) is a Central Ohio Library system serving a five county area consisting of eight member libraries, six branch libraries, and a bookmobile containing over 515,000 titles and circulation over 3.5 million. The Executive Director reports to a Governing Council made up of the directors of the eight libraries. The CLC maintains a data center and offices in Lithopolis, Ohio.
