OHIONET is pleased to announce a partnership with NewsBank for our public library members.

OHIONET's public library members will now have access to special pricing to NewsBank’s America’s News resource, featuring 50 Ohio news sources, designed to satisfy the diverse needs of public libraries.

NewsBank’s offer is a replacement for OHIONET members, to the Ohio Newspaper collection that will no longer be offered via OPLIN after October 31st.

With 85% of sources not found in other public library resources, America's News provides unique access to the full text electronic edition of over 2,100 local, regional and national news sources, featuring 50 titles from the state of Ohio.

Public libraries that commit to the new offerings by October 31, 2013 will have no interruption in their access throughout 2013. They will continue on a January/December subscription period, with the next renewal at January 1, 2015.

Public libraries that do not commit to a purchase by October 31, 2013 will no longer have access after that time.
