YOUTH SERVICES COORDINATOR

The Portsmouth (Ohio) Public Library has an opportunity for an 
experienced librarian to head our Youth Services department.

Minimum Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited library education 
program, plus 3-5 years public library experience with at least three 
years at a supervisory level.

The successful candidate will have experience with youth services 
functions, with a strong background in children's programming, along 
with a strong philosophy of customer service, the ability to retain 
and motivate a talented staff, and embrace the library's values, 
including innovation, trust, and staff participation.  Ohio Public 
Librarian Certification preferred.  A complete job description along

Salary: Starting range at $35,940 annually
