Introductory Information: 
Clermont County Public Library is a ten branch system located 20 miles east of Cincinnati. All the branches are open Monday and Tuesday 12 to 8, Wednesday and Thursday 10 to 6, and Friday and Saturday 9 to 5. The system offers a wide range of materials and services and access to internet and availability to materials through MORE and ILL. Circulation in 2011 was more than 1.5 million items. 
Responsibilities: 
Performs, under supervision, a variety of clerical tasks associated with the circulation of library materials. Uses library automated circulation system to circulate materials to library users including checking materials in and out, processing holds, registering borrowers, collecting fines and fees, and other related work such as shelving materials. Helps record branch statistics. Operates and trouble shoots office equipment, including copiers, printers and fax. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. 
Qualifications: 
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency. Good keyboarding skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. 
Salary and Benefits: 
Minimum $9.85/hour 28 hours per week Dental Insurance, membership in Ohio Public Retirement System, 4 hours paid for each 11 holidays, and vacation accrual.
