Minimum Requirements:

- Master’s degree from an ALA accredited library school
- Knowledge of general library principles, methods, procedures and trends
- Completed coursework in children’s literature and programming techniques
- Interest and experience in working with children and their caregivers
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
