Position:   Fiscal Officer 
Library:                         Kirtland Public Library 
City:                              Kirtland, Ohio 
Salary Range:                           $15,000 - $22,000, depending upon experience 
  Part-time opposition, averages approximately 20 hours per week.  Position available November 1, 2013 
  
Requirements: 
·          Ability to serve as the Library’s chief financial officer with full responsibility for accounting and payroll functions 
·          Associate’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience.   Education or work experience in public accounting and/or libraries, preferred 
·            Must be able to organize, plan, schedule, and complete work independently and in a timely manner 
·          Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with Board members, the Library Director, co-workers, and the community in written and oral formats 
·          Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning 
·          Familiarity with UAN (Uniform Accounting Network software, preferred 
·          Must be able to meet bonding requirements and pass a background check
