We have been offering 1-on-1 30 minute sessions for the past 2 - 3
years. Our patrons seem to enjoy these more than the larger classes
because of the personal attention. So far we have only used staff.
They do MS Word, Excel, Beginning Internet for Seniors, ebook questions,
etc. We have a short evaluation form for them to fill out at the end of
the session. The session appointments are only made with the staff
person doing the session.

Subject: [OPLINLIST] computer program

Hello all,
We are a small library and do not have an IT person on staff. I am
considering starting a program for basic computer assistance where
patrons would make an appointment with a volunteer or staff member
during a designated time (Thursday afternoons for example), and receive
basic computer training. Have any of you tried a similar program? Any
words of wisdom to share?

Thank you for your input!

Jessica
