[OPLINLIST] Library credit card

Thanks for input on credit card situation. It seems that it is not a federal requirement for one person to be responsible, but a requirement of this credit card company. We are giving them their card back.

Has any library received a notice from their library credit card company or bank that  requires a single person to be responsible for debt on the card if the library defaults? Our bank is saying it is required under federal law. Thanks for your response.
