[OPLINLIST] Disc cleaning machines - RTI vs VMI?

Dear Collective Brain,

A few days ago at PLA, I got to see the latest generations of both RTI and
VMI cleaning machines demonstrated.  They seemed to be very similar
machines except for the price, which was wildly different.

Is anyone out there who's familiar with both machines, and knows of an
advantage to either machine which is worth over $1,000?  Or is anyone a
$1,000 fan of either machine?
