Title:  Human Resources Generalist                                      Date Posted:  March 23, 2015



Job Responsibilities:  Under general supervision, the HR Generalist maintains library personnel and employment files; coordinates the library's compensation and benefits programs; ensures the development, coordination and implementation of system-wide staff training; ensures effective communication of human resource information and current trends to all library employees.



Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in human resources, business administration, or other related field and three to five years of human resource experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Applicant must have a valid Ohio driver's license and an acceptable driving record.  SHRM certification and public library experience preferred, but not required.



Working Conditions:  Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week with additional hours as necessary.  Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.





Pay Range:   Starting salary $29,120 to $39,266 depending upon qualifications and experience.
