The Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library seeks a Technical Processing Manager. This position is responsible for supervising and managing the Technical Processing Department; including hiring, supervision, and training of staff; ensuring timely cataloging and processing of all library materials; coordinating all library material acquisition activities for the library system; and evaluation, repair, replacement, and withdrawal of library materials in poor condition. The position has overall responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the Integrated Library System database within library and consortium guidelines including the authority file and quality control of cataloging records. Candidates must have an ALA-accredited MLS degree and 2 years of professional library experience in cataloging and technical processing area. Salary begins at $20.90 per hour.
