[OPLINLIST] Federal Tax Forms CORRECTION

I received an outdated list of the forms being made available to libraries for 2014 tax returns. The message below has been updated to show the correct list of tax forms.

The State Library of Ohio has received calls regarding the decreasing number of federal tax forms begins sent to public libraries. This is the information we currently have:

Every year, the IRS sees an increase in the number of taxpayers using software to prepare their federal tax returns. Last filing season, 95 percent of taxpayers filed their tax returns electronically. As a result, the number of tax forms distributed to libraries continues to decrease.

This is a list of IRS documents that are currently being made available to libraries in paper:

Form 1040 EZ Income Tax Return for Single and Joint Filers With No Dependents

Publication 17 Your Federal Income Tax (For Individuals)
Publication 1132 Reproducible Copies of Federal Tax Forms and Instructions
TFOP Poster Package

IRS forms and manuals can be downloaded from the IRS website at irs.gov/Forms-&-Pubs
