Please excuse cross-postings.

In our Reference Skills & Resources webinars, we give special attention to freely available, but possibly overlooked, sites that can help you find the information you and your patrons are looking for. Our first session in 2016 will lead attendees through the American Community Survey site, which underwent a significant redesign in late 2015. It now works seamlessly with the American Fact Finder and other related data sources compiled and distributed by the United States Census Bureau. The result is a robust, but complex, resource covering demographic, geographic, economic and social data in the United States. In this first webinar (of two) on the ACS site will give attendees and orientation to wide variety of data collected by the Census Bureau and the new tools available to help you find the data you need.
